VOL. 1 INSTRUCTIONS
-
Step 1:
Prep The Martini Glass Surface
Buff the entire surface area of both the cup and the base until the shiny surface is gone and the entire glass is matte.
Use alcohol wipe to remove dust from the glass.
Ensure the glass is dry before proceeding.
-
Step 2:
Assemble the Martini Glass
Add a drop of B7000 glue into the hole on the stem part of the base, just enough to cover the base of the hole.
Connect the cup and the base, and allow the glue to dry for a minimum of 15 minutes before moving onto Part 4 (Proceed with Part 3 in the meantime).
-
Step 3:
Practice Time
Take B7000 glue and practice drawing lines of glue on the practice sheet provided.
Once you are confident in your glue lines, fold the paper in half and dispose of the paper to avoid getting glue everywhere (thank me later).
-
Step 4:
Bling the Rim
Once the glue is dry from Step 2, draw a 1-inch line of glue around the outside rim of the glass.
PUT THE CAP BACK ON THE GLUE
Using the bling pen, tap the wax end into the tray of rhinestones, pick one up, and place it at either end of the glue line.
Repeat this process until the entire rim is covered in rhinestones.
Continue down the outside of the glass until you reach the stem.
-
Step 5:
Bling the Base
Draw a line of B7000 glue around the outside of the base.
Start by gluing a quarter of the outside of the base to prevent the glue from drying before placing the gems.
Continue this process until you have completed a full circle of gems around the outside of the base
Continue making circles of gems inward until you reach the stem and the base is covered in a dazzling display of rhinestones
-
Step 6:
Bling the Stem
Draw a line of glue down the stem.
Place rhinestones one by one along the line
Repeat the process by drawing another vertical line next to the first, and placing gems one by one until the entire stem is blinged out.

Bling pens are a clever tool designed for easy and precise rhinestone application. These pens typically have a wax or tacky tip that allows you to pick up individual rhinestones effortlessly. Simply touch the pen's tip to the flat side of a rhinestone, and it adheres to the wax or tacky substance. With the rhinestone securely on the pen, you can then place it onto your chosen surface, such as glass or fabric, creating precise and controlled designs. Rhinestone pens make the blinging process seamless and enjoyable, ensuring that your designs are as dazzling as your imagination!

No, you don't have to seal the gems. The adhesive properties of the glue used during the blinging process are sufficient to securely hold the rhinestones in place. The primary difference lies in the material composition. Glass rhinestones are made of glass, providing a traditional and classic sparkle. On the other hand, resin rhinestones are crafted from a type of plastic resin, offering a lightweight and more budget-friendly option, perfect for beginners. While both options are dazzling, glass rhinestones may have a slightly higher refractive index, resulting in a brilliant and timeless sparkle. The choice between glass and resin rhinestones depends on your preferences, project requirements, and desired aesthetic.
